I am a Kenyan storyteller, photographer, filmmaker and creative producer based in Nairobi.
In 2015, I left finance and accounting to pursue photography. Eleven years later, the camera has taken me into stories across people, places, nature, conservation and sport.
But photography was never the destination.

I am interested in finding stories, developing ideas and turning them into meaningful work. Sometimes that means a photograph. Sometimes a film, a written story, an exhibition, a book or an entire production.

I enjoy being involved beyond the camera, from developing the creative direction to managing the different streams of a production and seeing an idea through to the final work. My background in finance taught me to understand the structure, numbers and strategy behind a project. My years in the creative industry taught me how to bring that understanding into the creative process.

I have also found myself drawn to leadership, building teams, creating opportunities for other creatives and contributing to the growth of the industry.
The camera is only the beginning.

I want to keep producing work that travels further, crossing borders and bringing an African perspective to stories about people, nature, culture and the world we share.
